The right match for a system at this level: properly made and correctly specified for the job.
A step upChord Company C-line 2RCA to 2RCA 1 m pair £75 RRPWhat Hi-Fi? Award — Best analogue interconnect under £50, 2021
A worthwhile step up in shielding and construction, on a system that will show the difference.

The aspirational choice: reference cable for when the rest of the system earns it.
There is insufficient evidence to prefer either DAC implementation for sound quality. An analogue connection uses the Pro Plus's DAC; a digital connection uses the A5+'s DAC. Chip specifications alone do not establish which complete path performs better. The connection shown is a practical wiring choice, not a sound-quality ranking.

The cheapest routeQED QX16/4 PVC 4-core install speaker cable 6 m off the reel £20.52 approx. (£3.42/m)
Cable cut from a reel to the length you need, which is how an installer would wire this run and much the cheapest way to do it. No plugs are fitted and none are in the price: a binding post clamps bare wire directly, or you can fit your own banana plugs.
Keep left and right runs equal learn why →
Leave the links in place on the Diamond 12.3The Diamond 12.3 has two pairs of binding posts, joined by metal links or short jumper leads. The single run above connects to either pair with the links left in. Take them out and only half the speaker is fed — you lose the bass or the treble depending on which pair you used. Bi-wiring is the alternative: two runs per channel from the same amplifier terminals, one to each pair, links removed. It is optional, and a single good cable is the better buy before a second run.
